About the Photographer

Experience
Laurel Edwards is, first and foremost, a photographer. For nearly seven years, she has utilized her skills in the pursuit of quality photography over a wide range of subjects, utilizing both 35mm and digital media, with years of experience behind the lens. She has provided photographic work to multiple organisations, as well as to several large and well-known entertainment companies in the Orlando area.

Diversity
We are not limited to but one area of expertise in the photography field, rather we cover a wide range of subjects. In particular, we pride ourselves upon our equine performance and portraiture work, as well as our photography of other domestic animals and pets. With an extensive personal background as an equestrian, Laurel has a unique edge when it comes to photographing horses in action. Additionally, Jungle-Eyes Productions has also been called upon to shoot weddings and other special events--easily capturing all the spirit and emotion of such life-changing moments. We also cover a wide range of other photography, including nature, wildlife, cityscapes, and more. In addition, our latest adventures have been into the realm of underwater photography.

Speciality
However, shining through all our diverse subject matter, we are most well known for our work in the field of concert photography, having worked extensively on both a local and national level. Jungle-Eyes Productions has photographed such noteworthy artists as Medeski, Martin, & Wood, the Allman Brothers, Michael Franti & Spearhead, O.A.R., the Drive-By Truckers, Col. Bruce Hampton, G. Love & Special Sauce, Karl Denson's Tiny Universe, Ben Harper, Oteil & the Peacemakers, Umphrey's McGee, The Wailers, Charlie Hunter, North Mississippi Allstars, Vida Blue, Jazz Mandolin Project, Mofro, Robert Randolf & the Family Band, String Cheese Incident, and many others. Our efforts have been included in many volunteer projects designed to further the local music scene, most notably by our participation and support of Orlando's Jambando concert series, a community effort towards improving the music scene on a local level. Our photographs have appeared in music publications on a national and local level, as well.

Dedication
The pursuit of photographic perfection is our goal at Jungle-Eyes Productions. We tirelessly strive for finding that one ideal shot--the one shot which captures the right moment and preserves it for all time. The best photography is revealed through relentless pursuit of that ever elusive perfect shot, the magical moment when lighting and subject come together and are captured by the camera. This is our goal.

Technology
At Jungle-Eyes Productions we aim to provide the ideally balanced union of the raw beauty of our subjects and the latest advances in photographic technology. While we continue to recognize and utilize the time-honored techniques of 35mm photography, we have also progressed into the digital age. Utilizing high quality Nikon equipment, we have transitioned into digital photography. In addition, we use the highest caliber of digital editing software for post processing of images, which brings out the natural beauty in each shot.
